First Time Release Worldwide for the Direct Mail Market
Dear Direct Mail Marketers,
I live in Bathurst, Australia and have been successfully promoting to the Australian and New Zealand on-line markets two re-released art publications of a renowned Australian Artist Jack McDonogh (1916-1994).
Jack had a successful 42 year career in teaching art at the local University as well as running popular summer schools for the community. The university held Jack in high esteem as evident by the university naming a new building after him in 1991, as well as being awarded an honorary “Master of Arts” degree in 1992. Jack taught art as a professional teacher for 42 years and during those years he developed a number of very easy to follow art publications.
The products covered under this license include “An Introduction to Watercolor Painting” 57 min color DVD (NSTC and PAL) and “An Introduction to Pencil Sketching” a 92 page book on CD (as a pdf). Both of these were successfully launched in Australia in the 80’s and still hold valuable content for the beginner to intermediate artists.
I have personally re-launched these publications and I am now looking to make them available to the major direct mail markets around the world via the Resale Licenses for the direct mail market. The license agreement has a set minimum sale price ($30 US for the twin pack) so that you should not be undercut by other license holders it. The license also stipulates that the two items (DVD & CD) must both be sold as a twin pack and not separately. The agreement also stipulates the territory that is included in the license (eg. USA), that the licenses are for reproduction and resale of the two art products for the direct mail market and that there can not be any promotion, advertising or selling of the two art products on the internet.
This is a brand new opportunity for you to be amongst the first to purchase a license and the complete kit (see below) and start your own direct mail promotion. The resale licenses for these two products will be available in limited release (eg. only 40 licenses for the USA).
A license can be purchased for $820 AUS = $750 US each.
Once your payment has been received I then post you via registered airmail your complete kit which contains: Resale License, Pencil Sketching CD and Watercolor DVD and publicity information in electronic format; photographs, newspaper publications, testimonials, label and insert information and graphics.
Your one investment could be fully recouped after just 25 to 30 sales at $30 US each twin pack (DVD & CD). To set your self up...once you have purchased the resale license you would then need to purchase; a pack of 50 good quality blank CD's, a pack of 50 good quality blank DVD's, a CD label kit (most kits now include the label software for your PC) with at least 50 labels that you can print out on your home printer (needs to be colour), 2 x 5 CD packs of blank CD cases (both doubles and singles to have a total x10 of each), some cardboard envelopes x10 from the post office that can hold a CD case (I buy 10 at a time for a discount) and a ream of A4 paper for the dics covers and inserts. This will cost you about $100 Aus. Initially as you start to sell the CD's and DVD's you will need to buy more blank cases and postage packaging.
Your blank discs cost about 50c each (if you buy them in lots of 50) and the cases cost $2 for packs of 5 or 40c each and the labels work out to be about 60c each, the postage packs I use are $1 each and internal postage in Australia is $1.60 or less.
So to produce a single pack costs 50c + 40c + 60c +$1 +$1.60 = $4.10 and a double pack is $4.60. I generally charge $5 postage and handling which covers all my costs leaving the sale price as profit (depending on what your advertising costs are). So the products are very profitable.
